Our Story |
|
Kelsey Taylor Brown was born in London, Ontario on July 20, 1987. She is the daughter of Stephanie Foreman and Warren
Brown. Kelsey is an exceptional mother and a very understanding companion who is clearly the better looking and younger
half of the soon-to-be married couple. Her love of adventure brought her to Calgary in 2007 upon her booking of a
one-way flight. Although unsure of where life would take her, she soon landed a job, found an apartment and established
her life her in Alberta.
Jeremy Paul Cheyne was born in Calgary, Alberta on July 10, 1980. He is the son of Erin Cheyne and Paul Lelonde.
Jeremy is an extremely driven individual that has lived a dynamic life so far. In youth, he would spend his winters
playing hockey but anticipated his summers working in the oilfield. His love of sports took him to Western Michigan
University, the television with a CBC reality show, and a professional stint in both hockey and lacrosse. But his
passion for oil & gas brought him to home to pursue his MBA and start his own oil & gas exploration company.
In her words :
We have been blessed with many fortunes in our life together but the most notable would be the arrival of our son,
Brady Dennis Jack Cheyne. His birth summoned our ‘adulthood’ and we have come to realize that our life has become
that of our son’s. On March 15, 2010 we celebrated Brady’s first birthday yet it seems like only yesterday that we
were rushing to Rockyview hospital only 36 weeks into the pregnancy. I can still remember the color draining from
Jeremy’s face when the doctor said the baby would arrive later that evening. When I asked him to head home and
retrieve the supplies, he appeared dumbfounded, and not surprising he made a call to Tim Janzen to find out what
these ‘supplies’ would consist of. Upon their meeting of the minds, he returned with a toothbrush and a carseat
buckled in backwards (haha). As the evening dragged on, we soon welcomed our very underweight yet beautiful baby boy.
In his words:
I would like to add that we have a dog named Shelby. She is nice.
